dc.descriptionRESUMEN: El presente trabajo muestra el papel que ha tenido la huerta comunitaria CIDEC en la reconstrucción del tejido social en la comuna 2 de Bello, Antioquia, mediante iniciativas ciudadanas para la recuperación del espacio público a través de la práctica de la agricultura urbana. Por su parte, para su realización se tuvo un enfoque de investigación-acción en la cual el investigador hace parte del fenómeno estudiado, y se realizaron entrevistas semi estructuradas a los participantes de la huerta CIDEC para dar cuenta de cómo esta actividad puede beneficiar a la comunidad. Para finalizar, el trabajo expone algunas conclusiones generales respecto a las huertas comunitarias vistas desde un punto de vista social partiendo de la experiencia vivida en la huerta. En este sentido, se muestra cómo, a partir de estas iniciativas, se puede dinamizar el compartir de las personas, fortaleciendo los vínculos comunitarios, educativos e identitarios de una comunidad.
dc.descriptionABSTRACT: This paper shows the role that the CIDEC community orchard has had in the reconstruction of the social fabric in commune 2 of Bello, Antioquia, through citizen initiatives for the recovery of public space through the practice of urban agriculture. For its part, to carry out the research, it is possible to access field work through action research in which the researcher is part of the phenomenon studied. Likewise, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants of the CIDEC orchard to account for how this activity can benefit the community. Finally, the work exposes some general conclusions regarding community gardens seen from a social point of view based on the experience lived in the CIDEC orchard. In this sense, the research shows how, based on these initiatives, the sharing of people can be energized, strengthening the community, educational and identity ties of a community.
