| dc.description | The results of the prefeasibility study of the development of a web platform for hiring tourist guides in Honduras are presented. The research hypothesis sets the standard for determining the economic feasibility of the project, which must be greater than or equal to the calculated cost of capital, which is 28.17%. This research was carried out under a cross-sectional quantitative approach that allowed obtaining figures and information that specifically answer the questions asked. Based on the applied surveys (350), it has been discovered that 63% of the population is interested in acquiring the services of tourist guides through the web platform and a large part of these would also be interested in offering their services through this development. With an Internal Rate of Return of 37% and a recovery period of 2.38 years, the developing of a web platform for hiring tourist guides in Honduras, demonstrates having the economic feasibility to be launched. This project promotes tourism in a different way in the market, therefore, and due to the results obtained, it would be widely accepted by the general public, ensuring financial stability and business growth over time. | |
