| dc.description | El presente informe tiene como objetivo principal proponer un plan de desarrollo turístico para el municipio de Ocotepeque, por medio de un análisis del potencial con el que cuenta el lugar y de esta manera contribuir al desarrollo económico local de una forma sostenible, esto se realizó por medio un levantamiento de información de los productos y servicios turísticos del municipio, a través de un inventario de recursos turísticos, así como también un estudio de mercado por medio de encuestas para clientes potenciales con preferencias por el turismo rural con un muestreo no probalístico y entrevistas a profundidad con autoridades locales que toman decisiones relacionadas con el turismo del municipio de Ocotepeque. Este estudio se realizó bajo un enfoque mixto, con métodos de exploración, observación y descriptivos. Los resultados más relevantes arrojados por la encuesta es que el 93.96% de la población está dispuesta a conocer el municipio de Ocotepeque y el 80.27% de la población le gustaría enterarse de las actividades turísticas por medio de las redes sociales; por lo que se plasmó en este documento un plan de acción para el desarrollo turístico del municipio de Ocotepeque el cual cuenta con cinco fases donde se evidencia el potencial turístico, las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas del municipio para el desarrollo del turismo rural de la zona, siendo el más fuerte los recursos naturales, por lo que se concluye que este plan de acción puede ser ejecutado para promover Ocotepeque como un destino turístico. | |
| dc.description | The main objective of this report is to propose a tourism development plan for the municipality of Ocotepeque, by means of an analysis of the potential with which the place counts and in this way contribute to the local economic development in a sustainable way, This was carried out by means of an information gathering of the tourist products and services of the municipality, through an inventory of tourist resources, as well as a market study by means of surveys for potential clients with preferences for Rural tourism with non-proballistic sampling and in-depth interviews with local authorities making decisions related to tourism in the municipality of Ocotepeque. This study was conducted under a mixed approach, with methods of exploration, observation and descriptive. The most relevant results released by the survey is that 93.96% of the population is willing to know the municipality of Ocotepeque and 80.27% of the population would like to learn about tourism activities through social networks; Therefore, a plan of action for the tourism development of the municipality of Ocotepeque was reflected in this document, which has five phases where the tourist potential, the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats of the municipality are evident for the Development of rural tourism in the area, being the strongest natural resources, so it is concluded that this plan of action can be implemented to promote Ocotepeque as a tourist destination. | |
