El espíritu de la presente investigación fue la contribución con el mejoramiento y bienestar del ala jardín del Hotel Honduras Maya con la finalidad de provocar un alza en los rendimientos, debido a la problemática de baja ocupación habitacional y reducida tarifa promedio, por causa de la falta de inversión en renovación ya que la prioridad siempre se la han llevado otros sectores del hotel. A través de un enfoque mixto, pero predominantemente cuantitativo, se desarrolló un estudio de factibilidad financiera de donde surgió una solución, sugerencia de la nueva administración, donde se propuso darle un giro total al concepto de negocio, administrativo y financiero de esa sección, para obtener los beneficios esperados por los accionistas, a través de la remodelación de los apartamentos y habitaciones de esta ala convirtiéndose en condominio disponibles para la venta.The spirit of the present investigation was the contribution with the improvement and welfare of the garden wing of the Hotel Honduras Maya with the purpose of causing an increase in the yields, due to the problem of low occupancy and reduced average charge rate, due to the lack of investment in renovation since the priority has always been taken by other sections of the hotel. Through a mixed but predominantly quantitative approach, a financial feasibility study was developed, from which a solution emerged, as a suggestion from the new administration, where it was proposed to give a total turn to the business idea, to the management and the financial concept of that section, to obtain the benefits expected by the shareholders, through the remodeling of the apartments and rooms of this wing as condominiums and put it on sale.
