El presente estudio está orientado a la creación de una empresa dedicada al transporte y almacenamiento de carga peligrosa, considerando la clasificación y peligrosidad de dicha carga; este rubro posee un gran potencial de crecimiento económico en la ciudad de San Pedro Sula. Esta investigación está compuesta por tres aspectos importantes que se deben considerar en el momento de evaluar la prefactibilidad de un proyecto, dichos aspectos son el estudio de mercado, estudio técnico y estudio financiero; subdividiéndose a su vez en el análisis del estudio y en los resultados de cada uno de los estudios. Los diferentes estudios que se realizan dentro de la investigación permiten que los evaluadores identifiquen si el proyecto propuesto es aceptado dentro del mercado. De igual forma, se establece que el proyecto cumple con todos los requisitos necesarios para poder operar dentro de la ciudad de San Pedro Sula y con los lineamientos necesarios para el manejo de sustancias peligrosas, garantizando la seguridad de los servicios que se brindarán. En la investigación la población es finita, está distribuida a lo largo de las diferentes pequeñas y medianas empresas que poseen contacto con las mercancías peligrosas dentro de la ciudad de San Pedro Sula. Cabe mencionar que, por la falta de explotación de este rubro y a través de los resultados del estudio de mercado, se identifica que no existe una competencia directa para el proyecto que se está evaluando y es por ello que tiene una pre aceptación por parte de los usuarios definidos.The investigation is focused at the foundation of a company dedicated to the transport and storage of hazardous substances, considering their classification and their danger´s degree; this has a great opportunity for economic growth in the city of San Pedro Sula, small and medium-sized organizations don´t have the resources to manage this type of services. This investigation consists of three important aspects that are analyzed in the predictability of a project; it is divided into three studies which are marketing, technical and financial study; each study is subdivided into the analysis and results of the study. The different studies that were carried out allowed researchers to identify whether the proposed project would be accepted within the market. Furthermore, it is established that the project meets all the necessary requirements to be able to operate within the city of San Pedro Sula and with the necessary guidelines for the management of hazardous substances, ensuring the safety of the services to be provided. The population is finite, it is distributed throughout the different small and medium-sized enterprises that have contact with dangerous goods within the city of San Pedro Sula. It´s worth mentioning that due to the lack of warehouses and specialized transport of this item for small and medium-sized enterprises, the results identified that there is no direct competition for the project and that is why it has a pre-acceptance by defined users
