El presente informe de práctica profesional tiene como objetivo describir la experiencia adquirida en British American Tobacco Central América (BATCA), empresa que actualmente se dedica a la producción y comercialización de cigarros a nivel de Centroamérica y el Caribe. Esta empresa está ubicada en la Ciudad de San Pedro Sula, Cortés, Honduras cuenta con más de 90 años de producción en la fábrica y 20 años de haberse creado la división de comercialización. Es una industria que se debe administrar con mucho cuidado ya que es un tipo de producto que es regulado por diferentes entes nacionales ya que el abuso del consumo perjudica la salud. Esta es una empresa altamente reconocida por la excelencia en sus productos y las características que ofrecen a su mercado meta.
