El objetivo de la investigación es diseñar el Departamento de Comunicación para el Desarrollo y Fundraising para implementar en el Hospital Psiquiátrico Mario Mendoza. Con el fin de generar la captación de fondos e incrementar el presupuesto en el año 2020, pero ante todo a una mejora inmediata en materia de atención y servicios; así como una transformación en el posicionamiento de su imagen. Con un método aplicado a partir del diagnóstico hacia la creación del esquema o diseño estructural del mismo, así como los lineamientos operativos y los mecanismos para la captación de fondos; se ofrece un panorama altamente descriptivo de la solución propuesta para la transformación del centro. La investigación muestra resultados importantes en materia del promedio de empresas prospectadas y el valor requerido para obtener la totalidad de los fondos necesarios para cumplir la meta. De igual manera, se asignan recomendaciones para hacer partícipe al Estado en la responsabilidad de garantizar el acceso a salud mental.The objective of the research is to design the Department of Fundraising in the Mario Mendoza Psychiatric Hospital; located in Tegucigalpa, Municipality of the Central District. In order to generate funds and increase the budget in 2020, but overall to an immediate improvement in the area of ​​attention and services; as well as a transformation in the positioning of its image. With a method applied from the diagnosis towards the creation of the scheme or structural design, as well as the operative guidelines and the mechanisms for raising funds; a highly descriptive panorama of the solution proposed for the transformation of the center is offered. The research shows important results in terms of the average of companies surveyed and the value required to obtain all the funds necessary to meet the goal. Likewise, recommendations are assigned to involve the State in the responsibility of guaranteeing access to mental health.
