El presente proyecto de investigación tuvo como principal objetivo el desarrollo de un sistema de información de control estadístico de los equipos y servicios que ofrece la empresa de telecomunicaciones Tigo. Este sistema será utilizado por el Departamento de Ingeniería de dicha Empresa, ya que son los encargados de monitorear y mantener la calidad del funcionamiento de todos los sitios y equipos que componen la red de Tigo para ofrecer sus servicios (llamadas, SMS y servicios de valor agregado). En el proceso de investigación se tomaron en cuenta tanto fuentes primarias como secundarias que permitieron sentar las bases del sistema de información. Se realizó un estudio de los procesos actuales para la revisión de indicadores de calidad para encontrar cuales son las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas (FODA) del mismo, De igual manera, se obtuvo la información necesaria para dar solución a los inconvenientes presentados y levantar los requerimientos del sistema. Por otra parte, también se diseñaron las interfaces de la aplicación y se procedió a la codificación del sistema genera el Sistema de Controles Estadísticos.The present proyect of investigation has the main objective to develop an information system of stadistical control of equipment that the company of telecomunications Tigo offers. This system will be used for the engineering department of the company already mentioned, because they are in charge to look over and keep the quality of the functions of all sites and equipments that integrate Tigo net to offer its services (calls,SMS, and services add values) In the process of investigation was considered main sources and second sources that allowed to set down the bases of the information system. It was performed an study of the actual process to check the quality indicators to find wich were the strengths, opportunities, weakness and threatness known in Spanish as (FODA). In the same way was obtained the necessary information to give solution to the presented incoviniences to raise the requirements of the system. In the other hand, were design the interfaces of the applications and was proceed to the codification of the general system to the system of statistical controls.
