El presente estudio titulado Diseño de un plan de negocios para la apertura de un restaurante de comida mediterránea oriental, tiene como finalidad determinar la factibilidad de abrir un restaurante de comida mediterránea oriental en la ciudad de Tegucigalpa. Para tal fin, se realizó un estudio de mercado, un análisis financiero y una investigación técnica, para determinar la rentabilidad del proyecto para el inversionista. En estudio de mercado reflejó una demanda insatisfecha por varias razones, como precios demasiado altos, pobre calidad de alimentos, y porciones pequeñas, entre otros. Por ésta, y otras razones, es un nicho atractivo para el inversionista, que está dispuesto a ofrecerles a los clientes productos que satisfagan sus necesidades. También se realizó un estudio técnico para determinar las necesidades de espacio, ubicación, equipo, mobiliario, empleados, etc. que una vez satisfechas, permitirán al negocio operar con las condiciones apropiadas para un inicio exitoso. Finalmente se realizó un estudio financiero para determinar la viabilidad de un negocio de restaurantes con las características ya descritas. El proyecto busca el establecimiento de un restaurante de cocina mediterránea oriental de origen griego, turco, libanés y palestino, que ofrezca una comida saludable, exquisita, variada, de calidad y frescura y a excelentes precios, para lograr atraer a clientes con alguna experiencia en la comida de alta cocina.The present study titled Design of a business plan for opening an oriental Mediterranean food restaurant, has the purpose to determine its feasibility in the city of Tegucigalpa. To this end, a market study, together with a financial analysis and a technical investigation were conducted to determine the profitability of this project for the investor. The market study reflected there is an unsatisfied demand for various reasons such as: prices are too high, the poor quality the food, and small portions, among others. For these and other reasons, it is an attractive niche for the investor, who is willing to offer its clients product that satisfy their needs. A technical study was also implemented to determine the needs of space, location, furniture and equipment, staff, etc., that once are satisfied, will allow the business to operate under the appropriate conditions to have a successful start-up. Finally, a financial study was implemented to determine the feasibility of the proposed restaurant business with the aforementioned characteristics. The project seeks the establishment of an oriental Mediterranean restaurant to serve food originating from Greece, Turkey, Lebanon and Palestine, offering healthy, exquisite, varied, fresh and quality foods at excellent prices to attract a clientele with some experience in high cuisine.
