La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de determinar si utilizan Buenas Prácticas Ambientales en el manejo de los Residuos Sólidos en las escuelas primarias ubicadas en el centro de la ciudad de Tegucigalpa, obteniendo como resultado que en la mayoría de estos centro educativos actualmente no se realiza un manejo adecuado a los residuos sólidos generados. Esta problemática es una realidad por lo que existe la necesidad de brindar capacitación a toda la población estudiantil y demás comunidad escolar ya que existe la necesidad de enseñar cómo deben de manejarse los residuos sólidos a través del uso de buenas prácticas ambientales. Es fundamental conocer la importancia y las bondades que se obtienen al practicar un adecuado manejo de los residuos sólidos ya que se mejora el cuidado del medio ambiente, el ornato y paisaje y se obtiene nuevos ingresos económicos porque estos constituyen la materia prima para la fabricación de otros productos.This research was conducted to determine whether use of good environmental practices in the management of solid waste in primary schools located in the center of the city of Tegucigalpa, resulting in most of these educational center currently not makes a proper handling of the solid waste generated.
