Empire Electronics Inc., es una empresa en el cual es considerada como el principal proveedor de componentes y sistemas de componente de iluminación, dirección y fascia automotriz de América del Norte de nivel 2. El cual está ubicada en Troy, Alabama y Honduras y también cuenta con centros de distribución ubicados estratégicamente en los EE.UU. y Europa. Ellos se dedican a diseñar, desarrollar y fabricar una gama completa de productos eléctricos y electrónicos. En el área de contabilidad, se divide en cuatro departamentos la cual son: cuentas a pagar, cuentas a cobrar, tesorería y contabilidad general, en la cual estas funcionan para la prevención del fraude. El departamento de cuentas a pagar, se dedica a lo que es la realización de pagos a los proveedores por la adquisición de materiales, bienes o servicios con los que cuenta la empresa. (Sage, 2014) Tomando en cuenta, la importancia de los procesos realizados para el registro de facturas de los proveedores, la empresa no tiene ningún aspecto a mejorar, ya que todo el proceso del registro de facturación es bastante claro, flexible y entendible para los empleados, al igual que el proceso de la aprobación de las facturas de variación de precio o facturas que estén combinadas con otras facturas. También otra de las actividades que se realizan, es la revisión de facturas por servicios de fletes o sorteos que ya han sido pagadas, pasa por la revisión de tres personas para que estás estén correctamente ya que si hay algún error se deberá corregir y averiguar por qué está reflejado tal error.
