La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo dar una propuesta a BANHPROVI para mejorar la atención a los clientes por medio de la automatización de sus procesos en el área de solicitudes de crédito. Para ello se utilizaron metodologías y demás etapas de un proyecto de investigación de tesis. Para iniciar este trabajo se indagó en la problemática del banco en cuanto al servicio al cliente y se encontró que era por la poca automatización de sus procesos y la lenta comunicación que existía entre las diferentes áreas que participan en ello. También se tomaron en cuenta teorías y referencias que hablaran sobre la mejora continua, el servicio al cliente y la utilización de los sistemas BPM (gestión de procesos de negocios) para eludir esta problemática. En ella se incluye un análisis técnico, de presupuesto y de relación con el cliente para fundamentar la importancia de una herramienta tecnológica en el banco. Finalmente, se brindan conclusiones y recomendaciones para la implementación del sistema BPM propuesto.The present research aimed to give a proposal to BANHPROVI to improve customer service through the automation of its processes in the area of credit applications. For this purpose methodologies and other stages of a thesis research project are used. In order to begin this work, the bank's problems regarding customer service were investigated and it was found that it was due to the lack of automation of its processes and the communication that existed between the various areas involved in it. It also took into account theories and references that spoke about continuous improvement, customer service and the use of BPM (business process management) systems to circumvent this problem. It includes a technical, budget and customer relationship analysis to substantiate the importance of a technological tool in the bank. Finally, conclusions and recommendations are provided for the implementation of BPM system.
