Model of Entrepreneurial Learning.
Aprender a
puramente educacional. ABSTRACT: Acting on a business opportunity is a complex human process that involves how entrepreneurs
learn and develop throughout their lives. Learning is part of human activity and the
development of the individual comes from his dialectical interaction with the social world,
which involves the educational processes of learning. Based on this assumption, the attention
turns to the role of educational institutions in the student's learning and development processes,
which places itself in the condition of potential entrepreneur. Thus, the objective of this
dissertation is to understand the entrepreneurial learning process and the entrepreneurial
development of students from a higher education institution to guide the development of
pedagogical practices for training entrepreneurs. For this, a constructivist approach to
entrepreneurial learning was adopted based on historical-cultural psychology and the Triadic
Model of Entrepreneurial Learning. To achieve the objective, narrative research and the focus
group technique with the use of storytelling and theatrical images were adopted as a
methodological support of the investigation. The research took place with students from a
public institution of higher education who chose to enterprise at a certain point in their academic
path, receiving the support of the university for the creation of real companies. To identify this
profile, it was decided to carry out the research in an institution that had among its pedagogical
practices a program to encourage entrepreneurship, among them, the support in the creation of
companies through an incubator. The results show that entrepreneurship seemed distant before
entering university. Stories inscribed in the narratives and told by them resume life experiences
that bring them closer to what they believe to be the entrepreneur, someone recognized,
independent and self-taught, who seeks to solve problems to help people. At the beginning of
the university, surrounded by fear of a new world, they prefer not to risk it outside the
classroom. After some time, driven by colleagues and professors, they start to get involved in
other activities and to insert themselves in other spaces of the university. In these spaces, they
get in touch with entrepreneurship and discover that entrepreneurship is possible, even at the
university. In this context, they get in touch with success stories and with "successful
entrepreneurs", who are taken as a reference. Immersed in this environment, they learn and
build stories of who they want to be and create projects that can become real companies. The
routine changes, the responsibilities become greater and the burden of tasks too, they are no
longer just students, they now assume the identity of an entrepreneur in the search for a
successful company. This identity reorganizes the relationship with the university, with
colleagues and with the family. Learning how to undertake is a social process, understood in a
contextual way rather than a purely educational process. 163 f. : il. color., figs.
