The objective of this work is to develop a discussion based on the analysis of the Common National Base Curriculum (BNCC), focusing on the stage of Early Childhood Education, problematizing an association between the concepts of learning and development rights and fields of experience with the philosophical foundations and historical aspects of Deweyana educational theory. The research developed here has a bibliographic and documentary methodology, with a qualitative character, where the data are analyzed with the intention of understanding the legal frameworks and the possible philosophical and pedagogical foundations that support the elaboration of the BNCC. After an intense study on the selected works that deal with the theme of our research, we can conclude that there is a similarity between the concepts approached at BNCC with the foundations of John Dewey. However, it is worth mentioning that this author is not the only one who addresses these topics, let alone that his ideas are incorporated in the entirety, construction and implementation of the BNCC. With this, it is desired to awaken the interest to provoke the debate around the theme for this discussion, so that one can know the contributions of this author to BNCC, and to instigate them to a theoretical deepening on the theme in question.O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver uma discussão a partir da análise da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), com enfoque na etapa da Educação Infantil, problematizando uma associação entre os conceitos de direitos de aprendizagem e desenvolvimento e campos de experiência com os fundamentos filosóficos e históricos da teoria educacional deweyana. A pesquisa aqui desenvolvida possui uma metodologia de cunho bibliográfico e documental, com caráter qualitativo, onde os dados são analisados na intenção de compreender quais os marcos legais e os possíveis fundamentos filosóficos e pedagógicos que embasam a elaboração da BNCC. Após um intenso estudo sobre as obras selecionadas que tratam do tema da nossa pesquisa, podemos concluir que existe uma semelhança entre os conceitos abordados na BNCC com os fundamentos de John Dewey. Mas, vale destacar que este autor não é o único que aborda essas temáticas, e muito menos que suas ideias são incorporadas na totalidade, construção e implementação da BNCC. Com isso deseja-se provocar o debate em torno da temática para que se possa conhecer as contribuições desse autor para a BNCC e para instiga-los a um aprofundamento teórico sobre a temática em questão.
