| dc.description | El ausentismo laboral ha despertado un creciente interés de estudio por su impacto nocivo en las organizaciones, interfiere en el desarrollo óptimo de habilidades, conocimientos, destrezas, experiencias y aptitudes de quienes se consideran el recurso intelectual de la compañía y un elemento fundamental para el logro del éxito organizacional. El objetivo es identificar las causas que conllevan el ausentismo laboral en una empresa de seguridad y vigilancia privada de la ciudad de Barranquilla, la cual cuenta con sedes alrededor de Colombia. El estudio es descriptivo, con método inductivo de tipo transversal realizado desde una base de datos de hasta 14.107 registros de incapacidades registrados en las diferentes sedes con las que cuenta esta compañía durante el año 2019, con una frecuencia de medición mensual. Por otra parte, se determinaron variables sociodemográficas y laborales como: Sexo área, cargo, antigüedad laboral, tiempo de incapacidad, las cuales se clasificaron de menor a mayor, donde el número representativo menor es de 1 día y número mayor de hasta 341 días. El ausentismo laboral en la empresa de seguridad V.P Global se ve representado con altos porcentajes (51,35 %) o un alto volumen de incapacidades, lo cual puede estar afectando directamente a la compañía en términos de rentabilidad. | |
| dc.description | Work absenteeism has awakened a growing interest in study due to its harmful impact on organizations, it interferes in the optimal development of competencies, knowledge, skills, abilities, skills, experiences and aptitudes of those who are considered the intellectual resource of the company and a fundamental element for the achievement of organizational success. The objective is to identify the causes that originate work absenteeism in a private security and surveillance company in the city of Barranquilla, which has offices around Colombia. The study is descriptive, with an inductive method of transversal type carried out from a database of up to 14,107 records of incapacities registered in the different headquarters of this company during the year 2019, with a monthly measurement frequency. On the other hand, sociodemographic and labor variables were determined, such as: sex, area, position, work seniority, time of incapacity, which were classified from lowest to highest, where the lowest representative number is 1 day and the highest number is up to 341 days. Absenteeism in the security company V.P Global is represented by high percentages (51.35 %) or a high volume of incapacities, which may be directly affecting the company in terms of profitability. | |
