Este artículo tiene por objetivo analizar, comparar criterios respecto a distintos tipos de estructuras organizacionales que adoptan las diferentes empresas u organizaciones. Adicional a lo anterior se de-marcó las nuevas tendencias en la adopción y diseño de las estructuras organizacionales, explicando además su origen y concepción. Se logró constatar que las tendencias, las estructuras organizacionales de las empresas difieren según el tipo de organización, destacándose en las manufactureras la estructura en red, y en las prestadoras de servicios las estructuras adhocrática, hipertrébol, hipertexto y circular.The objective of this article is to analyze, compare criteria regarding different types of organizational structures adopted by different companies or organizations. In addition to the above, new trends in the adoption and design of organizational structures were outlined, explaining in addition their origin and conception. It was found that the tendencies, the organizational structures of the companies dif-fer according to the type of organization, the network structure stands out in the manufacturers, and the adhocrática, hypertrebol, hypertext and circular structures in the service providers.
