el proyecto ENHSA LA (Vélez, 2011) –Educantional Network of Heads of Schools of Architecture-. This work seeks to summarize the progress and effects related to the reflection on innovation when teaching
the Architecture Projects Workshop which was a fundamental topic in the fourth meeting in Ciudad de
Panamá. The reflection was carried out from the different stances of European and American participants,
starting from the conceptual and theoretic component of the previous sessions in which the quality of
architecture education was debated. The description of contemporary education factorsthatfuture architects face, like rapid changes, the evolution of education paradigms moving from a teaching-centered to a
learning-centered approach –focusing on the student as protagonist, and the demand of creative thinking
development, were taken into account. This project advises on the continuousness and progress of the
academic debates first defined in the ENHSA LA–Educational Network of Heads of Schools of Architecture- project. In 2012, with the initiative of Architect ConstantinSpiridonidis from the Greek University of
Thessaloniki, the academic project Erasmus Mundus ARCHI-MUNDUS was devised. The aim was to call
different architecture scholars from Europe, North America, and Latin America to reflect –individually and
collectively- about the dimensions in Architecture teaching. The development of the project took place in
four meetings, in equal number of cities: Rio de Janeiro in 2012, Montevideo andChaniain 2013, and finally
in Ciudad de Panamá in 2014.
