Obteniendo como resultado un prototipo de pieza funcional que permite la libre circulación dentro y fuera del aula, satisfaciendo a las necesidades del usuario In the present project, the problem present in the Universidad de la Costa is addressed in terms of the situation found in blocks eleven and twelve of the same, where the locks on its doors make it impossible to open them from the outside of the classrooms, causing multiple interruptions to classes when a person requires entry to the room. It is there, where the importance of design is exhibited in terms of adaptation or problem solving, with the help of opinions and suggestions from the client to reach its realization. For this reason, the design process was used to respond to this problem in a timely manner and following the guidelines stipulated in the Pahl and Beitz design process model under the phases of Clarifying the idea, Conceptual design, Design to shape and detail design, and making use of instruments for the development of each phase such as the scope of the problem, the value proposition map, the system architecture, levels of details and the Fusion360 tool, among others. Obtaining as a result a prototype of a functional piece that allows free circulation inside and outside the classroom, satisfying the needs of the user
