Introduction: Currently, low back pain is considered one of the main causes that lead to a decrease in the functional capacity of human beings, being characterized as a painful condition that affects the lower part of the spine. In addition to being a dysfunction that affects a large part of the world's population annually, low back pain also negatively influences the individual's quality of life, productivity and functional capacity. Objectives: To analyze in the scientific literature the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic interventions for the treatment of low back pain. Methodology: It is characterized as an integrative review of the scientific literature that used articles published in LILACS, MEDLINE and SciELO databases to compose the study. Results: Five scientific articles were selected that address different physiotherapeutic methods for the treatment of low back pain. Related articles range from five to 176 patients studied, with a total of 293 patients studied. Conclusion: After analyzing the selected articles, it is concluded that there are several physiotherapeutic protocols for the treatment of low back pain with satisfactory results for the improvement of pain, functionality and quality of life.
