| dc.description | This paper aims to study the procedure of euthanasia under the approach of the dignity of the human person on the patient who goes through a terminal illness and the matter of the choice of the patient when searching for methods that could extend the life or opt for the death in face of the awareness of the health condition. Thus, the method of bibliographical research was adopted in face to carry out this monograph. Furthermore, the comprehension of legal parameters in Brazil and abroad according to concepts like the fundamental rights, the autonomy of the patient, bioethics and biorights is necessary regards the euthanasia procedure and derivatives, like the dysthanasia, orthotanasia and assisted suicide. | |
| dc.description | Este trabalho tem como objetivo tratar do procedimento de eutanásia sob o enfoque da dignidade da pessoa humana do paciente que se encontra em fase de doença terminal e a questão da escolha do paciente por métodos que poderiam prolongar sua vida ou optar por sua morte sabendo de sua condição. Assim, foram utilizados métodos de pesquisa bibliográficos e documentais. Ademais, pautam-se, neste trabalho, a compreensão dos parâmetros jurídicos no Brasil e no exterior a luz de conceitos como os princípios fundamentais, a autonomia do paciente, a bioética e o biodireito no que diz respeito ao procedimento de eutanásia e derivados, como a distanásia, ortotanásia e o suicídio assistido. | |
