O artigo analisa fragmentos de uma pesquisa de pós-graduação em sociologia realizada em uma instituição de ensino na cidade de Porto Alegre, cuja temática versa sobre processos de subjetivação discente. O texto justifica sua pertinência em estudos de educação pelo modo como elabora seus inventários empíricos, articulando metodologicamente etnografia e análise documental, pelas quais desdobra um estudo de caso sobre gênero. Tem por objetivos a reconstrução socioantropológica das conexões entre normas e práticas escolares e seus efeitos nas possibilidades de constituição subjetiva de estudantes, evidenciar moralidades subjacentes em regras e práticas e expor a importância do corpo na escola. Como resultados, exibe as condições pelas quais alunos e alunas experimentam relações com o corpo e a sexualidade a partir do gênero, evidenciando, sobretudo, as censuras sobre o feminino. Sexualidade.The article analyzes fragments of a postgraduate research in sociology, carried out at an educational institution in the city of Porto Alegre, whose theme is about student subjectivation processes. The text justifies its relevance in education studies by the way it elaborates its empirical inventories, methodologically articulating ethnography and documentary analysis, through which it unfolds a gender case study. It aims at the socio-anthropological reconstruction of the connections between school rules and practices and their effects on the possibilities of subjective constitution of students, evidence underlying moralities in rules and practices and expose the importance of the body at school. As a result, it shows the conditions under which male and female students experience relationships with the body and sexuality based on gender, showing, above all, the censures on the female.
