Resumen
The article presents a group of women collectors of modern and contemporary art highlighted not only by the art collections that formed or continue to form, covering from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present. They have acted and act in museums and events in Brazil and the world, occupying positions in council and presidencies, or even creating their own institutions. In this sense, the objective is to put in evidence the comprehensiveness of performance of women from their art collections, their insertion in the art system and their participation in the constitution of Art History in Brazil.

O artigo apresenta um grupo de mulheres colecionadoras de arte moderna e contemporânea destacadas não só pelas coleções de arte que formaram ou continuam formando, abrangendo do início do século XX até o presente. Elas atuaram e atuam em museus e eventos no Brasil e no mundo, ocupando cargos em conselhos e presidências, ou até mesmo criando suas próprias instituições. Nesse sentido, o objetivo é colocar em evidência a abrangência da atuação de mulheres a partir de suas coleções de arte, suas inserções no sistema da arte e suas participações na constituição da História da Arte no Brasil.
