dc.descriptionThe purpose of this study is to make an analysis of the socio-educational measures (SEM) applied to adolescents who are authors of infractions, attended by the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (SRCSA) of the municipality of Ituiutaba / MG, from the perspective of the adolescents and their families. The specific objectives of this research are: to analyze youth violence in Brazil; make a historical survey of public policies aimed at children and adolescents; analyze the SEM applied to adolescents in conflict with the law, based on the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (SCA) and the National System of Socio-Educational Assistance (NSSEA); to learn about the work done by SRCSA directed to the application of SEM; analyze the profile of adolescents. It was assumed that the SEM applied in the municipality of Ituiutaba did not meet the SCA and NSSEA proposals regarding the strengthening of family ties and the social reintegration of adolescents in conflict with the law. To achieve these objectives, the researcher used bibliographical research, documentary research, empirical and exploratory research at the SEM application site. As a result, it was found that adolescents in compliance with SEM in the municipality of Ituiutaba have the same profile as the maps of violence in Brazil. Regarding the application of the measures, it was concluded that despite the advances in public policies, the SEM applied in the municipality of Ituiutaba do not reach the objectives proposed by the SCA, which are the social reintegration and the strengthening of family ties.

dc.descriptionO presente trabalho tem por objetivo fazer uma análise das medidas socioeducativas (MSE) aplicadas aos adolescentes, autores de ato infracional, atendidos pelo Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (CREAS) do município de Ituiutaba/MG, na perspectiva da família e do adolescente. Constituem se objetivos específicos desta pesquisa, analisar a violência juvenil no Brasil; fazer um resgate histórico das políticas públicas destinadas às crianças e adolescentes; analisar as MSE aplicadas aos adolescentes em conflito com a lei a partir do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA) e do Sistema Nacional de Atendimento Socioeducativo (SINASE); conhecer o trabalho realizado pelo CREAS direcionado à aplicação das MSE; analisar o perfil dos adolescentes. Partiu se do pressuposto de que as MSE aplicadas no município de Ituiutaba não atendem às propostas do ECA e do SINASE quanto ao fortalecimento dos vínculos familiares e à reinserção social do adolescente em conflito com a lei. Para alcançar tais objetivos, a pesquisadora utilizou se de pesquisas bibliográficas, documentais, empíricas e exploratórias no local de aplicação das MSE. Como resultado, constatou se que os adolescentes em cumprimento de MSE no município de Ituiutaba possuem o mesmo perfil traçado pelos mapas da violência do Brasil. Quanto à aplicação das medidas, concluiu se que apesar dos avanços nas políticas públicas, as MSE aplicadas no município de Ituiutaba não atingem os objetivos propostos pelo ECA que são a reinserção social e o fortalecimento de vínculos familiares.
