This work presents a study of the optimized synthesis of four-bar mechanisms, using optimization methods. In the beginning of this work the mechanisms are treated briefly, where it is given a greater attention to four-bar mechanisms. The four-bar mechanisms synthesis is presented giving the equations of the trajectory synthesis of the couple point, passing nearest of the nine given points. Some optimization techniques” are presented. The objective function which represents the problem is shown. The optimization problem is then solved through the construction of a subroutine which generates the objective function and this subroutine is coupled to the optimization program. At last, the program is used to solve some case tests, which results in conclusions concerning relevant aspects of this research work.Dissertação (Mestrado)Este trabalho apresenta um estudo da síntese otimizada de mecanismo de quatro barras, utilizando métodos de otimização. No início deste trabalho os mecanismos são tratados de forma sucinta, onde é dado um maior enfoque aos mecanismos de quatro barras. A síntese dos mecanismos de quatro barras e apresentada, sendo obtidas as equações para a síntese da trajetória de um ponto da biela, passando o mais próximo possível de nove pontos dados. Algumas técnicas de otimização são apresentadas. A obtenção da função objetivo que representa o problema de síntese é mostrada. O problema de otimização é resolvido através da criação de uma sub-rotina que gera a função objetivo, sendo a mesma acoplada ao programa de otimização ADS (Automated Design Synthesis). Ao final do trabalho é feita a aplicação do programa a alguns casos, que culminaram em conclusões que demonstram a relevância deste trabalho.
