The present work has as its object the critical environmental educational formation in the formation of teachers, thus, it aims to construct, teach and analyze a pedagogical proposal that takes Agroecology as the content of Critical Environmental Education. As pillars for the construction of the work, we have the articulation with art and Critical Historical Pedagogy and Critical Environmental Education as theoretical references. The investigation was developed considering the assumptions of the qualitative methodology and analyzed the development of a pedagogical activity in a Study Group on Critical Environmental Education, composed of undergraduate and graduate students and a professor. The educational activity took place online, due to the coronavirus pandemic, in 4 meetings of approximately 4 hours each, through conversation circles. For the analysis of the activities developed, we used the Content Analysis Methodology and two scientific articles were constructed that dialogue since both were based on an educational process developed in teacher training: the first aimed to analyze possible contributions of Cândido Portinari's works: “Lavrador de Café” (1934) and “Café” (1935) for this process of training teachers in environmental education. The second article sought to report and analyze an educational proposal that took Agroecology as a content of Critical Environmental Education in teacher training. We conclude that the educational work in dialogue with the art that took food production, especially agroecology, as an axis of environmental education in teacher training showed potential and made possible the advancement and deepening of the participants' understandings about the relationship between society and nature in the capitalist system.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES)O presente trabalho tem como objeto a formação educativa ambiental crítica na formação de professores, assim objetiva construir, ministrar e analisar uma proposta pedagógica que toma a Agroecologia como conteúdo da Educação Ambiental Crítica. Como pilares para construção do trabalho temos a articulação com a arte, a Pedagogia Histórico Crítica e a Educação Ambiental Crítica como referenciais teóricos. A investigação foi desenvolvida considerando os pressupostos da metodologia qualitativa e analisou o desenvolvimento de uma atividade pedagógica em um Grupo de Estudos em Educação Ambiental Crítica, composto por estudantes de graduação, pós-graduação e professora. A atividade educativa ocorreu de forma online, em 4 encontros de aproximadamente 4 horas cada um, por meio de rodas de conversa. Para a análise das atividades desenvolvidas, utilizamos a Metodologia de Análise de Conteúdo e foram construídos dois artigos científicos que dialogam já que ambos se pautaram em um processo educativo desenvolvido na formação de professores: o primeiro teve como objetivo analisar possíveis contribuições das obras de Cândido Portinari: “Lavrador de Café” (1934) e “Café” (1935) para esse processo de formação de professores em educação ambiental. O segundo artigo buscou relatar e analisar uma proposta educativa que tomou a Agroecologia como conteúdo da Educação Ambiental Crítica na formação de professores. Concluímos que o trabalho educativo em diálogo com a arte que tomou a produção de alimentos, em especial a agroecologia, como eixo da educação ambiental na formação de professores mostrou potencialidades e possibilitou avanço e aprofundamento nas compreensões dos participantes a respeito da relação sociedade e natureza no sistema capitalista.
