The external and internal morphological aspects of fruits and seeds were described and illustrated, as well as the germination process and external morphology of seedlings of baru (Dipteryx alata Vogel). This study was carried out in the Laboratory of Plant Propagation and greenhouse. The morphological characteristics can be used in taxonomy, laboratory and nursery work and natural regeneration studies.
