O presente trabalho é uma análise sumária do mapeamento geomorfológico do estadodo Pará, com base nos trabalhos do projeto RadamBrasil, IBGE e a utilização do MDE,gerado a partir do Radar-SRTM. A escala de 1:250.000 ensejou a utilização de trêstáxons onde se inclui primeiramente as unidades morfoestruturais, estas correspondendoa estrutura geológica e a litologia, representadas pela Bacia Sedimentar da Amazônia,embutida entre os dois escudos cristalinos ao norte e sul da mesma. Dentro dessecontexto foram inseridas as unidades de relevo que constituíram o 2º táxon e um 3ºtáxon com respectivas subunidades, complementada por dados de declividades,altimetria e área das unidades. Procura-se neste trabalho fornecer instrumentos quepossam servir de embasamento ao planejamento da paisagem do estado do Pará em suasinterações com outras ciências.MAPPING UNITS OF RELIEF OF THE STATE OF PARAAbstractThe present work is a brief analysis of the geomorphological mapping of the state ofPara, based on the work of RADAMBRASIL projetc, IBGE and in the use of DEM,SRTM Radar etc. The 1:250,000 scale gave rise to the use of three taxons whichincludes primarily the morphostructural units, these corresponding to the geologicalstructure and lithology represented by the sedimentary basin of the Amazon, builtbetween the two crystalline shields to the north and south of same. Inside this contextwere inserted the units of relief that constituted the second taxon and a third taxon withits subnits, supplemented data on slope, altimetry and area units. Search in this workprovide tools that can serve as the basis for planning the landscape of the state of Para intheir interactions with other sciences.
