| dc.description | This paper undertakes and analysis of Sabina Kustin’s A vida e a luta de uma sobrevivente do holocausto (2005), focusing principally on the victim’s trauma and memory, as well as on the importance of the testimony itself. Brutally shaken by the violence of her experience, Kustin’s text is marked by the traumas formulated in her past that affected her memory and her present life. Thus, writing works as an instrument that allows her to review her traumatic past and also as a possibility of relieving her pain. Walter Benjamin, Dori Laub, Regina Igel, and Márcio Seligmann-Silva are the principal writers on which the present approach is based. | en-US |
| dc.description | O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o livro A vida e a luta de uma sobrevivente do holocausto (2005), de Sabina Kustin, considerando o trauma da vítima, a memória e a importância do relato testemunhal. Atingida brutalmente pela violência, Kustin deixa em seu relato marcas do trauma formulado no passado, mas que atingem sua memória e seu presente. A escrita seria, então, um meio de revisão desse passado traumático e uma possibilidade de alívio ou amenização da dor.
