The present paper discusses the formative potential of images, especially media images, digital communication and advertising in the construction and imposition of an instituted model for the female body. The visual terrorisms are analyzed from two imaginary pieces: the series Monstrous Feminine by Jessica Ledwich and the short animation film Supervenus by Frédéric Doazan. The analysis of images is carried out from the discussion on the manipulation and the power of advertising and social media in the identity formation of women, using Acaso (2016); Wolf (2020); Beiguelman (2021) and Fontcuberta (2014) in the reflection.O presente texto discute o potencial formador das imagens, sobretudo, das imagens de mídia, de comunicação digital e de publicidade na construção e imposição de um modelo instituído ao corpo feminino. Os terrorismos visuais são analisados a partir de duas peças imagéticas: a série Monstrous Feminine, de Jessica Ledwich, e o curta-metragem de animação Supervenus, de Frédéric Doazan. A análise das imagens é realizada a partir da discussão sobre sua manipulação e o poder da publicidade e das redes sociais na formação de identidade de mulheres, utilizando Acaso (2016); Wolf (2020); Beiguelman (2021) e Fontcuberta (2014) na reflexão.
