| dc.description | It is in the search for the understanding of the space inherent to man, that the Community of the Channel of the Tachas (Terreirão), especially devise its singularity, that we will analyze in this work its genesis. The evolution of urban space in the city of Rio de Janeiro occurred from the center to the peripheries, according to the interests of capital. The last area to be incorporated into the urban network was the western zone, where the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood, which houses Terreirão, is inserted. It is intended to answer in this work when, how and why this locality changed from a community composed of agricultural workers to the largest and most well-structured Favela of Recreio dos Bandeirantes. | |
| dc.description | É na busca pela compreensão do espaço inerente ao homem, que a Comunidade do Canal das Tachas (Terreirão), especialmente deviso a sua singularidade, que analisaremos neste trabalho a sua gênese. A evolução do espaço urbano na cidade do Rio de Janeiro ocorreu do centro para as periferias, de acordo com os interesses do capital. A última área a ser incorporada a malha urbana foi a zona oeste, onde o bairro do Recreio dos Bandeirantes, que abriga o Terreirão, encontra-se inserido. Pretende-se responder neste trabalho quando, como e porque essa localidade passou de uma comunidade composta por trabalhadores agrícolas á maior e mais bem estruturada favela do Recreio dos Bandeirantes. | |
