Ceratopogonidae, present in the Entomological Collection of Instituto Oswaldo Cruz, Rio de Janeiro, RJ,
Brazil is presented. This list includes the genera Bahiahelea, Culicoides, Dasyhelea, Downeshelea,
Forcipomyia, Leptoconops, Mallochohelea, Monohelea, Neobezzia, Palpomyia and Sphaerohelea.
