dc.descriptionÉ comprovado que o uso de plantas medicinais é feito por todos os povos desde os primórdios da sociedade, não sendo possível precisar desde quando se deu o início de tudo. A transmissão dessa sabedoria popular vem ocorrendo há muito tempo e é preciso demonstrar o quanto ela é importante, o quanto se faz necessário que essa tradição, que essa transmissão de conhecimento não cesse. Esse saber popular sempre foi visto como uma informação a ser transmitida e utilizada de forma indiscriminada, não havendo um controle, pois sempre foi visto como algo que por ser natural, não faria mal algum. A legislação para controle do uso dos fitoterápicos só começou a existir inicialmente no século XX, muitos anos se passaram e aconteceram diversas mudanças na política com a criação de Decretos, Portarias e Resoluções. Após a criação da Política Nacional de Plantas Medicinais e Fitomedicamentos, essa cultura vem tendo uma maior atenção na sua totalidade e houve um aumento no interesse governamental em legalizar, e controlar todo o processo relacionado a essa área.

The transmission of this popular wisdom has been taking place for a long time and it is necessary to demonstrate how important it is, how necessary it is that this tradition, that this transmission of knowledge does not cease. This popular knowledge has always been seen as an information to be transmitted and used indiscriminately, not having a control, because it has always been seen as something that would be natural, because of it, would not do any harm. The legislation to control the use of herbal medicines only began to exist initially in the 20th century, many years have passed and several changes have taken place in politics with the creation of Decrees, Ordinances and Resolutions. After the creation of the National Policy on Medicinal Phytosanitary and Phytomedicines, this culture has been paying more attention to its problems and increasing the interest in legalizing and managing the entire process related to this area.
