Cancer is one of the main causes of death worldwide and regionally, with high rates of increase, being this morbidity a great challenge for the health system. Currently, oncological drugs have been found that meet the specifications of the stages of this pathology, although they present high levels of toxicity caused by low specificity. To face this problem, importance has been given to the search for natural therapies that can be useful in the treatment of neoplasms, among which animal venom stands out, since they contain bioactive molecules with imminent therapeutic capacity in the treatment of cancer. Recently, 3D culture models such as spheroids have been used to evaluate molecules with anticancer activity, since they have the capacity to simulate microenvironments similar to tumor environments in vivo.
