Resumen
The effects of intermittent fasting, specifically time-restricted feeding (TRF), on the metabolic syndrome were investigated in this meta-analysis. TRF can be considered as an additional strategy in the multidimensional intervention of metabolic syndrome since it has the potential to impact all the risk variables associated with the metabolic syndrome. The primary objective of this study is to look at the metabolic effects of intermittent fasting in adults with metabolic disorders associated with the metabolic syndrome. Secondary objectives include detecting changes in serologic fasting blood glucose, HDL cholesterol, and triglyceride levels; changes in blood pressure and anthropometric parameters such as weight, BMI, and WC; and examining the safety of TRF.
