Pereira, 2009Con el proyecto de ley que buscaba favorecer a la comunidad LGBT en el reconocimiento legal de pareja, y que se hizo evidente en la sentencia C- 075 de 2007 por parte de la Corte Constitucional colombiana, implicando el nacimiento jurídico de parejas del mismo sexo, nace la idea de proponer un ejercicio de investigación que ofreciera una posible ruta para el análisis del proceso de visibilizaciòn mediática articulado como estrategia de comunicación para difundir la gestión frente a la opinión pública de los derechos de esta minoría en particular. Para esto, se seleccionaron cuatro medios impresos de circulación nacional: los periódicos El Tiempo y El Espectador, por un lado, y las revistas Semana y Cambio, por el otro. Desde la metodología, se asumió el enfoque cualitativo hermenéutico de corte documental que provee las herramientas de indagación sobre los contenidos sobre la temática de configuración de parejas del mismo sexo presentes en los medios.
