Participaron 146 adolescentes entre 16 y 20 años de edad, de 10° grado del Instituto Tecnológico Industrial de Santa Rosa de Cabal. La investigación es de tipo cuantitativa con diseño no experimental transaccional descriptivo explicativo. El apego se evaluó con el cuestionario Camir que mide las representaciones de apego, y el rendimiento académico con las notas parciales y globales del IV período académico de 2019. Los resultados, evidencian la necesidad de profundizar, tanto a nivel teórico como investigativo la relación de estas variables. /Abstract: The article presents the results of the investigation "incidence of the type of attachment in the academic performance". 146 teenagers participated, between 16 and 20 years old, from the 10th grade of the industrial technological institute of Santa Rosa de Cabal. The investigation is of a quantitative type with a non-experimental transactional descriptive explanatory design. The attachment was evaluated with the Camir questionnaire that measures the representations of attachment, and the academic performance with the partial and global grades of the IV academic period of 2019. The results show the need to go deeper, both theoretically and investigatively, the relation of these variables.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
