| dc.description | The health sector is one of the most important sectors in Colombia, so implementing technological innovation alternatives guarantees its strengthening in the market. In this way, this monograph has as its main objective to present the strategies in terms of technological innovation implemented in the IPS of the health sector in Colombia, which contribute to the growth and strengthening of these companies. Through an exhaustive review of the literature, great technological advances were found not only in the biotechnological and pharmacological field, but also in advances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, improvements in the organization and provision of the medical health service, new information systems, among other technological innovations that provide the IPS with the opportunity to guarantee improvements in the provision of health services to their patients. | |

| dc.description | El sector salud es uno de los sectores de mayor importancia en Colombia, por lo que implementar alternativas de innovación tecnológica garantiza un fortalecimiento de este en el mercado. De esta manera, esta monografía tiene como objetivo principal exponer las estrategias en términos de innovación tecnológica implementadas en las IPS del sector salud en Colombia, las cuales aportan al crecimiento y fortalecimiento de estas empresas. Por medio de una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura se encontraron grandes avances tecnológicos no solo en el ámbito biotecnológico y farmacológico, sino también en avances en los diagnósticos y tratamientos de las enfermedades, mejoras en la organización y prestación del servicio de salud médica, nuevos sistemas de información, entre otras innovaciones tecnológicas que brindan la oportunidad a las IPS de garantizar mejoras en la prestación del servicio de salud a sus pacientes. | |
