Función sexual en pacientes con diagnóstico de diabetes tipo I y tipo II

Abstract

La diabetes mellitus es una enfermedad crónica que genera afectación en diferentes áreas de ajuste del sujeto diagnosticado, dentro de las áreas afectadas se encuentra el área de la sexualidad, se han realizado algunos acercamientos con este tipo de población, encontrando distintas dificultades en diferentes áreas de su vida una vez diagnosticados. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar el funcionamiento sexual entre pacientes con diagnóstico de diabetes tipo I, tipo II y sin diagnóstico. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 84 hombres y 84 mujeres entre las edades de 18 a 64 años. Los instrumentos a aplicar fueron un cuestionario sociodemográfico, el MGH-SFQ, IDS, IIEF-5, FSFI, RSES y SEXUALITY SCALE, dicha aplicación se llevó a cabo por medio virtual, el estadístico empleado fue ANOVA y KRUSKAL-WALLIS, el cual nos permitió evidenciar el declive de ciertos aspectos del funcionamiento sexual en pacientes diagnosticados con DMT-I y DMT-II, la diferencia entre la autoestima, autoestima sexual, deseo sexual en pareja, solitario, entre otros factores que fueron de interés en la investigación.

The instruments to be applied were a sociodemographic questionnaire, the MGH-SFQ, IDS IIEF-5, FSFI, RSES and SEXUALITY SCALE, this application will be carried out online, the statistic used was ANOVA and KRUSKAL-WALLIS, which allowed us to evidence the decline of certain aspects of sexual functioning in patients diagnosed with DMT-I and DMT-II, the difference between self-esteem, sexual self-esteem, sexual desire in a couple, alone, among other factors that were of interest in the study research.
