dc.descriptionEl presente artículo de investigación tiene como finalidad conocer las mejores prácticas de logística inversa aplicadas a materiales plásticos. Dentro del documento se conocerán los países que más investigaciones han realizado de procesos de logística inversa, las prácticas de logística inversa que se ejecutan en empresas actualmente para la disposición final de plásticos caracterizando sus actividades más relevantes, identificando los actores que intervienen en el proceso y el impacto social, económico y ambiental que genera el retorno de productos plásticos para ser transformado como materia prima para la creación de nuevos productos. A través de la construcción de este documento de tipo cualitativo se logró comprender mediante experiencias de empresas reales la actualidad en materia de logística inversa para productos plásticos como herramienta para la ejecución de procesos ambientalmente sostenibles dentro de la cadena de suministro.

Through the construction of this qualitative document, it was accomplished to understand the current logistics situation around plastic products as a tool to execute environmental and attainable processes within the supply chain, it is important to note that all the information used in this article was obtained through actual company sources.
