dc.descriptionEn las empresas del sector avícola una de las ventajas competitivas es la reducción en la cantidad de las diferentes mermas que se generan dentro de su cadena de suministro que da apertura en el momento en que el pollo se encuentra en la granja y culminando cuando es consumido por el cliente. Por lo anterior, el presente artículo expone un análisis y evaluación de las mermas de transporte en una empresa del sector avícola, con el objetivo fundamental de evidenciar las variables que se presentan en el proceso logístico de transporte por medio de un registro de la información de los viajes transportados de la planta de beneficio al CEDI. El análisis de las causas del aumento del porcentaje de la merma que se genera en el transporte del producto entre sedes, permite conocer las variables y los motivo con el fin de aconsejar cambios que darán como resultado la disminución de la merma, que en síntesis termina impactando financieramente a las empresas y por ende las lleva a perder competitividad.
dc.descriptionIn companies in the poultry sector, one of the competitive advantages is the reduction in the amount of the different losses that are generated within its supply chain, which opens at the moment the chicken is on the farm and culminates when it is consumed for the client. Due to the above, this article presents an analysis and evaluation of transport losses in a company in the poultry sector, with the fundamental objective of evidencing the variables that occur in the logistics process of transport through a record of the information of trips transported from the processing plant to the CEDI. The analysis of the causes of the increase in the percentage of the loss that is generated in the transport of the product between locations, allows knowing the variables and the reasons in order to advise changes that will result in the reduction of the loss, which in short ends financially impacting companies and therefore leads them to lose competitiveness.
