Accounting information must be disclosed in accordance with international financial reporting standards, which is why Colombia has the obligation to implement these standards, to be part of the global market, without ignoring the problems posed by their adoption, since We are a country with low business development, even so, this challenge has been gradually met. Next, I present this writing that aims to publicize and understand the correct application of the International Accounting Standard IAS 41, Agriculture, at the same time see how the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus COVID-19 exposed a weak economy, which affected the agricultural union, so much so that for this year 2022 the agricultural sector continues in crisis and the confinement of more than six months became a challenge to overcome. The pandemic and the regulations decreed by the national government during this period have not been enough, since the reality of agriculture in Colombia was glimpsed with the health crisis and although it was one of the few unions that remained in real activity, it was not enough to stay strong in an economy as changing as it is today.
