El Líbano ha sido un Estado golpeado por varias crisis políticas, económicas y sociales a través del tiempo; esto se debe a la variedad de grupos políticos y religiosos que han deseado imponerse el poder. Uno de ellos es la organización de Hezbollah que se creó como un grupo de oposición al gobierno y que tiene como objetivo dirigir el Líbano y evitar la injerencia de Israel en los asuntos internos del Estado. En razón de ello, Hezbollah ha evolucionado a través de los años y ha implementado estrategias que lo hacen acreedor de ser un actor híbrido. En ese sentido, se pretende identificar cada una de las características por las que la organización chií libró este modelo de guerra contra el Estado de Israel en el sur del Líbano en el año 2006.
