Resumen
This article investigated the use and participation of bio-healthy parks in zonal parks in the town of Barrios Unidos, by people with reduced mobility to find out if these parks are used or not. Method: Using some field diaries, the different parks were visited and observed at specific times to identify if the machines exist and see if there is a flow of people using them, describing, arguing and interpreting what was being observed. Results: The zonal parks of the town do not have the machines and the participation of people with reduced mobility is nil, implying the need for more of these machines, to encourage the inclusion of people with reduced mobility and that they can exercise to avoid a sedentary lifestyle or social isolation. Conclusion: There is not a good promotion of physical activity in people with reduced mobility in the town. Keywords: Bio-healthy parks, Reduced mobility, Disability, Physical activity.
