This monograph "Consequences of Work Stress in a group of Security Experts Company Security L.T.D.A. - Medellín Branch" is based on the need to determine the impact of psychosocial risk on the well-being of employees with a security guard function. We seek to identify the effects of work stress on an economic sector classified as risk IV, due to its danger. It is approached from the mixed paradigm, with a non-experimental descriptive investigation, on a non-probabilistic sample of 38 collaborators. Finally, the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) Questionnaire and the Semi-structured Interview Guide for the Evaluation of Psychosocial Risk Factors were implemented, from the Battery to evaluate Psychosocial Risk Factors, by the Ministry of Social Protection of Colombia, instruments that collects the pertinent information to visualize the consequences and from there propose tools that help promote mental health.
Based on the analysis determined by the results obtained in the application of the tools, it will be perfected to verify that the most significant findings found in the present study directly affect the physical and mental health of the worker, which is produced by the long hours labor, which lead to the presence of health ailments or diseases. The high index of work stress that these workers handle was identified. Most of them coincide with a list of similar symptoms that arise from the approach in the relationship with company collaborators and with their family nucleus.
