Abstract

This report evidences and develops the objective of contributing to the improvement of the processes, by means of the proposal of implementation of a software extension, capable of optimizing the times of operative of the business and that minimizes the risks of manual management, for the company eShipping-affiliated to Perfiles y Soluciones Logísticas S.A.S., and all that is proposed for the development of this during the internship. A detailed description of the objectives will be presented, followed by the profile of the company, specifying its economic aspects through analyses and matrices, as well as its service portfolio and market aspects. Then, the role and the functions assigned during the development of the professional internship are specified, as well as the conceptual and normative framework according to the task performed, then the contributions made are presented to explain and detail the improvement plan for the creation of an extension of TMS eShipManager, which aims to optimize processes and reduce errors in the Freight Billing Department, finally the conclusions and recommendations are described.
