Abstract

The progress of architecture has been the result of the implementation of construction techniques that the inhabitants have adapted to the place of establishment and enjoyment of social and cultural activities, this document presents a retrospective of the importance of preserving architecture with cultural purposes and cultural tradition the Bogota savannah through the pathological study of the so-called "La Herrera House Museum", located in the municipality of Madrid, Cundinamarca, intended for the development of museum-type activities with the purpose of exhibiting the agro-pottery findings discovered in the urban area of the municipality of Madrid corresponding to the Herrera Culture considered one of the first human settlements in the Cundinamarqués territory, therefore the La Herrera House Museum, in addition to one of the first buildings with all its styling, acquires the monumental character from its architectural integrity within of the urban imagination.
