El Papel de los Datos en el Periodismo Deportivo en las Salas de Redacción de Dos Diarios Colombianos

Abstract

This research shows the undervaluation of data journalism as a potentially beneficial tool for sports journalism in Colombia. Through a collection of quantitative and qualitative information with the participation of journalists from El Colombiano and Diario la República, the hypothesis with which the project began was strengthened. In this way, the web report manages to demonstrate through stories, infographics, videos, audios and links the most important factors why the media in the country still do not bet on data sports journalism in their newsrooms.
