Abstract

In this reflection article, the relevant factors in the honeycomb process of the principle ofpresumption of innocence and in dubio pro reo against the testimony of minor victims of sexual crimes will be analyzed, the general aspects of these, its principles, the concept in the law and what the jurisprudence has stated regarding this type of crime, to understand in depth at a legal level the legal and procedural value of the testimonies of minors, the assessment of this in psychological terms, the legal validity for dealing with subjects of special protection and the relevance of the presumption of innocence of the defendant during criminal proceedings when the victim is a minor,because they are crimes behind closed doors.
