Pornografía y estereotipos sexuales en un grupo de adolescentes de la ciudad de Villavicencio, Meta

Abstract

This degree work focuses on identifying the sexual stereotypes promoted by pornography in a sample of 24 adolescents, residents of the city of Villavicencio. It is approached from the line of institutional research called "psychosocial approaches at the regional level" showing a broader understanding of sexual stereotypes and the consumption of pornography. The investigation is carried out from the hermeneutic method, from the constructivist epistemological position; Its design is descriptive and the individual interview by computer in real time through the use of an online blog is used as a collection technique (Chen and Hinton, 1999). According to the results, it was concluded that the adolescents who participated in the research showed to consume this type of content from an early age, motivated by their social circle or by the different media; leading to false expectations and distorting the sexual act, in addition to idealizing the female and/or male body. This is how the exposure of this type of material is perceived as a complement to sexual education.
