Resumen
Learning environments at SENA - Centro de Gestión Administrativa are characterized by working learning activities that are closely linked with the work context and the required skills for a person to successfully face the different situations that the XXI century brings. Nevertheless, from the bilingualism area, it has been noticed a low performance in the communicative competence in the foreign language. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect on the learning environment and the dynamics presented there. During the research process, it has been possible to establish the need to include ITC in the learning process, to generate activities that come from digital scenarios that place the contents in interactive experiences, that promote meaningful and collaborative learning. Likewise, it is vital to relate contents of other areas from the formative program with the formative sessions to boost horizontal connectedness into the process and to develop the communicative competence in foreign language, in order to contextualize the activities with the labor world. Finally, this research exercise will propose an improvement plan that will reconfigure the learning environment from an epistemological point of view, that will not only include the physical setting, but also will consider the dynamics, the behaviors and the school climate. Additionally, this improvement plan must include a holistic view of the bilingualism process that includes a multicultural perspective of the process.
